Our edging section is fully automated with various edging machines including a fast and reliable dry CNC edger. All parameter data, including frame shape, powers, PD etc. are received through the Lab Management System from the surfacing section. After the lens is glazed to shape and size, it will be fitted into the frame, aligned and sent to Quality Control where all items pass through a final check to ensure that they meet our high quality standards.

We are also able to offer remote edging service whereby the frame and lens specifications are sent to us online, which puts us in a position to deliver lenses which are already edged, ready to be fitted into the frame. This will speed up the whole process of producing the required lens.
